Hints

Since I have NO guessers and two people (weez and mom who are disqualified now) thought they absolutely had to know what it was, I'll give some more hints.

It is from a pic most of you have seen before, though probably in black and white.

I will tell you what it's not. Here are some guesses. I won't say who guessed what to protect the names of those people. Cause apparently they didn't want their guesses on the net. ;)

Here's the pic the eyes came from. Not a huge cheeser grin, but definitely a smile. I was having Dan help me and I guess he took "face shot" very very literally in this one. This isn't cropped or anything. So Trisha wins! I'll have to come up with a prize now.... hmmm...AM's been making some interesting stuff.... ;)
Next prize goes to the person who can say what this is AND what it is a part of? OH I am testing to see how well you folks are paying attention. Mwahahahaha!

Well, I don't have a lot of new, I tried to post this last night and Blogger was being a big ole pita.

We're all feeling much better! *knock on wood* I spent time last night working up a budget for this year. I spent a lot of time today purging documents from the last 2 year! I'm ready for spring cleaning. I love to throw crap away. I'll try to put get some new Murry pics soon! Love to all!!!!

Picklepotamous

Murry on Mommy:

In this pic she is saying, "Mom, you're a picklepotamous" I love these jammies on her. So cute. I think these were from Aunt Weez. I had a harder time keeping up this year with the way she ripped thru the packages. We got out today, thank goodness! We both were getting cabin fever and on each others nerves. She misses nothing and comes up with some goofy stuff. She's also having a "let's try Mom" phase. Maybe due to boredom. Maybe sickness, whatever it is, I'm ready for it to be gone. The last 2 days have been better.

Mommy on potty training:
I do need to have a braggy mommy moment. I think she's like 99% potty trained! Oh what a beautiful day.! There has been one accident and 2 almost accidents in the form of skidmarks since my plopper announcement. I'm so happy just to be cleaning skidmarks out panties rather than changing a diaper. How cool is my life? I've graduated to skidmark cleaner! No matter how ready you are for each milestone,though, there is a touch of sadness when you see your "baby" slipping away. I said touch. Motherhood is one big contradiction for me. I push her to grow up and move along, then I'm sad when she does it. But only for a moment then we're on to the next big thing.

Murry on learning:
So I was reading on how some kids her age knew their letters already, and I thought okay, well maybe I should work on that with her. She knows the alphabet song real well. Has since 20 mos, but she doesn't know and A from Z. So I bought some foam letters and I was trying to talk to her about them in the bathtub. You know what she told me. ---Mom, I don't want to do learning today--- See and here I thought I was being sneaky. I laughed and asked what she wanted to do with them. Well she wanted to stick them on her chest, bite on them, stick them on my forehead and use them as boats. I said, ok kid have at it. There will plenty of time for learning. She's quick and it makes me want to push her, but I also want to enjoy this time. Buuut it did make re-think the preschool thing. I thought I could teach her anything they did...but she might learn better in a preschool environment. She learns a lot from songs and shows. I point things out and work with her in her books, but she she doesn't like direct or structured instruction. And that's okay! So there is another little tidbit for me to chew on.

We're just so glad to be feeling better! I hope the sickness is done wreaking havoc at my house!

Now Murry's sick

Just a quick minute to update. Miss Murry has RSV. Big bummer. We went to the dr's today and got breathing treatments that so far are letting her sleep about 1-1 1/2 hours out of every 4. This virus sucks! I'll try to update when I have a minute here or there. Not a lot of spare minutes with all this going on.

Mama's sick

Just so you know why there has been nothing new on the sites. First, I had some kind of sinus cold thing. Started day after Christmas. Still hanging on with a cough. Allergies??? I dunno... Then last weekend, I got a stomach bug of some sort which is still hanging with me. So just to clear that up for you, coughing and loose control of my bowels. Not a pretty picture. So needless to say, I feel like the funk. I keep thinking I might be getting better, and then it hits me all over again. So I'm going to try to get to the dr. tomorrow before the ice hits and see if there is help for me.

Poor Murry. Bored to death. She's taking good care of me, though. I pray she doesn't get it. It's not good. Well everyone be careful in the ice and I'll post when I have something post-able. :/

A new site

I have a new site that I'm working on about Miss Murry. I think I like the format better. It's definitely easier to upload pics to, and it's prettier. I'm keeping them both. Just a quick post to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope the new year brings fun,joy, and peace in our hearts. Here is how I've been feeling lately.

Pooped! In so many ways. I've been feeling under the weather since Christmas Day. This picture of Miss Murry was taken the Thursday before Christmas weekend. She had a long day of fun, and we tried to skip the nap. She crawled under here to take a poop and fell asleep! Hee hee! She slept right there for about an hour. It was too sweet.

I have a few other cute pics to share, but it's late and I'm pooped. So Happy New Years to all my favorite people! :-D
